Happy Easter!!

What are your Easter plans for today?

I am going to church and getting Baptized today! For some reason I have just never done it, but today I finally am.

My family is coming to town to go to church with me and support me for the baptism, which I am so thankful for!

After church I am going to make a version of my Grandmothers traditional family Easter dinner.

I’m making:
Glazed Ham
Mac & Cheese (& a 2nd Gluten Free)
Sautéed Red Potatoes (my Grandma would usually make mashed)
Cornbread Stuffing ( & a 2nd Gluten Free)

That’s all for this Easter. Usually for holidays I also make cornbread casserole, green bean casserole, sautéed summer squash, and candied sweet potatoes.

Does your family have an Easter Dinner? What do you eat for Easter? I see people talk about Hot Cross Buns and Easter Bread, do you make these? Are they a tradition in your family?

Here’s all the prep I did yesterday to make dinner today super easy.

I was going to do more but I got completely sidetracked making more Peanut Butter Banana Crunchies!

Happy Easter everyone!!

  2. Boy did we ever! Starting with all night prayer Good Friday (7pm – 7am Sat.)!! Do you know Mac mayeda? His dad is our pastor and he is our worship leader, so he came about 3 30a and we enjoyed some unplugged worship. Others came in about an hour before closing and we ended with some beautiful worship and prayer! Bethany oversees the Greenhills Memorial Park Easter Sunrise service every year so I heard (recovering so didn’t make it!) that it was so great! (about 2000 in attendance, it’s a SP tradition/ offering goes to some wonderful causes) Then our service was wonderful as well!! He is Risen! God bless! PS – planted some of my corn sprouts into the ground this morning!! Oh my “babies”!! Hug for Echo please!
