Backyard Veggie Garden Update # 5

Hello!

So here’s how the garden is doing, in spite of my lack of attention to it! Hopefully I will get it weeded and fertilized this weekend. Does anyone have tips for a good organic, non-GMO safe fertilizer?

Here are the sugar pumpkins! The only thing doing really well.

(more mature, with a new squash growing)

Peas (still mislabeled, oops!)

Help!! So, I need to fertilize this weekend and was looking at buying this:

Has anyone tried this? Or can you recommend a good organic fertilizer for my veggies?

Backyard veggie garden update #4

Hello everyone!

I apologize for being MIA lately but starting Dexter has kept me very busy. I think we did 45 hours in 3 days!!

So here is where the veggies are!

Sunflower:

Jalapeño’s and bell peppers:

Lettuce, kale, spinach, cabbage, and romaine.
(All to be replanted next weekend)

Carrots and corn

Cabbage and corn

Tomatoes

Sugar pumpkins
(these are going nuts! Hopefully they don’t kill my Lemon tree)

Summer squash

French pumpkins

Peas

Cucumber and more squash

Cantalope

Watermelon

My raised bed I built this weekend

(surrounded by a chicken wire cage, to protect it from my pup)

In it is – red onions, tomatoes, Dill, and more carrots.

And the second raised bed with Lots of Basil and Jack-be-little pumpkins

I’m making the last raised bed this weekend!
