Dog Park Trip and some Weekend Rambling

Sunday, Lindsey and I ran all over, we got Honey Boba, met an electrician at my house to get an estimate, went and got our favorite Thai food at Rocharin

Then we took Echo to the local dog park! I was being a slightly nervous mama, I didn’t want her to get bit because she tends to invade dogs space sometimes and she’s still learning to listen to “come”. But she did fantastic!!

We took her in very calmly and let her off her leash, she got to run and play. We even found some adorable Great Dane pups for her to play with! (In the pic below). The cutest dog I’ve ever seen!!!

Echo had a blast and came home exhausted. I’m so glad we went, now on my days off I can take her there instead of day care (since it’s free) and she can go to daycare on some of my work days 🙂

Rusty J Music Video day 4!

Here’s to another awesome day!!
Life is good, God is great 🙂

So we started off slow this morning, relaxing at the house together. I made up some scrambled eggs & home fried potatoes.

We headed on a couple errands, went to Malaga Cove (great views), by the Redondo Beach pier again, then met up with Nicolle and Nick to shoot!

Later everyone came with us to shoot some awesome secret music video stuff, I really wish I could share but I promised not to!

Then dinner! I was going to cook up some chicken but instead we headed to one of my favorite places in Old Town Torrance, La Capillia

Rusty J Music video day 3!

Day 3 shooting Rusty J’s new music video went great!

The day started off with a trip to Hollywood Presbyterian Church on Rodeo Drive. We went to the contemporary service which was great!

After we got back to the house I stayed home to download and organize some footage from the Go Pro cameras (and do some much needed laundry) while the guys when hiking! Rusty J and Riley hit the gorgeous bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Palos Verdes. It was a perfect California day for hiking.

Since I cannot share many photos from the actual shoot here is some of Sierra and I running a Go Pro on Rusty’s awesome steady cam rig!

(I have no idea why I making a weird face but there you go)

After some more shooting we went to this awesome Hootenanny at the Urban Homestead in Pasadena, CA.

Long story short an awesome friend of Rusty’s invited him and us and it was a blast! Amazing people, great energy, relaxing, & fun.

They had wonderful, organic, non GMO food with vegan/vegetarian options!

Rusty even got a chance to play a few of his incredible songs for us all! Everyone loved it!!

So Rusty J music video day 2!

We started our Saturday meeting good friends for coffee.

Then filmed some secret video goodies

Then we met back up with Rusty’s awesome cinematographer (& one of my best friends) Nicolle and shot some more incredible footage! Here’s a sneak peek (shhh don’t tell Rusty I showed you these!) 😉

After that we got a much needed chance to relax.

Later Rusty J and I made dinner and shot a new episode of Rusty J’s “Lets Cook Something Good” We made my “Tuesday night” Tacos and Spanish Rice!

We ended the night around the fire pit with incredible people. We had Rusty J , Nicolle, Sierra (pictured above), James, Riley, Hannah, Jimmy, Nick, Lindsey , and Heather.

I have a drawer full of old scripts that needed to be shredded (cannot throw these away) so we tossed them in the fire pit

Rusty J Music video day 1!

Rusty J is here in LA! We are all so happy and today we are shooting his 5th Music Video. Here’s a quick look at today!!

(This is in Redondo Beach, ca)

UPDATE: Around Midnight we headed into the valley for a late night hike in Laurel Canyon. Rusty J knew of this awesome spot where you can see the entire valley so we hiked up, got scared by coyote noises, and had a blast.
